A significant other (male/female) who isn't quite your 'chop'. You barely know him/her, yet you strive to learning more about this person; then if satisfied, they have become your chop.

Sabastyan: Yeah man, she's my chop-ish. I'm still not 100% sure if I'm down for her yet though.

Ish means not so much of something but enough to make it the word. If some one said this couch is blue and green mixed together, you could just say that it’s blueish green. If someone said that this shirt is green-ish then it might not be so much green, but a different colour. If ish is used on its own, it can mean kind of, or maybe or really anything in a context.
