Get the Word to my dickmug. A phrase said when some says "say word." Used in Australian schools by teenagers who aren't trying to be american like the rest of the world and not too aussie (as they don't wanna say 'oath' or something).
Since 'word' can also mean swear, bird is often used, as the rhyme produces a good ring and allows for versatile use for those who don't want to endanger their mum's life.
