The often overlooked B in LGBT. A person capable or romantic and sexual attraction towards a partner of either gender. A person twice as likely to be turned down for a date on Saturday night. Someone who has to prove to the heteros that he is not gay, and prove to the homos that he is not straight. A trait hetero men find extremely attractive in women and seem to find frightening in men.

Get the bisexual mug.
A person of either gender who has the potential to be attracted to another person, regardless of gender.

The term often carries with it a negative connotation in today's society, even more so than gay.
Jennifer found herself attracted to Lindsay, despite the fact that her last relationship had been with a boy named Cory, who she had been attracted to as well.

Get the bisexual mug.
A person who is attracted romantically and sexually to both genders; male and female.

It's the most uncommon sexuality, as people are either heterosexual (most commonly) or homosexual.

Often enough, bisexuals experience some form of discrimination, doubt or questioning. Many homophobics do not like the "homosexual" aspect of being bisexual, and there are also people who think bisexuals are:

* Greedy.

This is bullshit, because you can't be "greedy" because you're ATTRACTED to both sexes, doesn't mean you HAVE both sexes. Plus even if you do have both sexes, it's their choice to be with you, right?

* Can't make up their mind/sexually confused.

This can actually be true, but not all bisexuals are confused. Is it that hard to like both?

* Only do it for attention.

While it's true you get some girls who claim to be bisexual to appeal to guys/guys claim to be bisexual to appeal to girls. Again. It doesn't mean all bisexuals are "heterosexuals in disguise".

* Like both males and females equally.

Again. SOME do, but not all. Some bisexuals prefer one gender over the other, it doesn't diminish their bisexuality though. It's possible for a man to prefer women, but would not mind having a sexual and romantic relationship with other men also. It's what bisexuality is all about.

BEST of BOTH worlds.
Bisexual male who prefers women to men, but that doesn't mean I'm straight. At least I don't believe it does. I'd still date and eff another man.

To be bisexual is to be attracted to a person regardless or gender or sex. It does not mean that you cannot make up your mind, it does not mean you are sex-crazed, and it does not mean that you will by default participate in orgies every night.
Of course, there is probably someone reading this that DOES participate in orgies every night, but they would be in the minority.

a) If you've ever heard of 'Greek love' then you will easily understand bisexuality. The ancient Greek males would have sex with both sexes, some may have only had sex with women to procreate.

b) Liking both sexes in general, usually romantically and/or sexually. A mix between being gay and straight.
a) Alexander the Great was a bisexual.

b) Jim is dating Janie but he did date George before her.

The WOMEN that LESBIANS cant stand. Which boggles my mind because Hetero's judge you for your sexual preference, why do the same?
I go to gay clubs, meet a woman..let her know I am Bi...she proceeds to roll her eyes. Ugh.

Get the bisexual mug.
Someone who is physically, emotionally & sexually attracted to both sexes but not nessarily equally.

Bisexuals are NOT sex-crazed lunatics who just want to go around and fuck everything in sight, and being a bisexual is not just a "phase" in becoming gay.

Some parents find it hard to accept their children when/if they find out they are bisexual which causes them to start treating their child like they are a piece of shit or even abusing them for being "different", but being bisexual isnt a disease, there isnt anything wrong with it.

Bisexuality is more common among women than it is among men because most men are worried that if they 'come out' then their friends will just cast them aside and/or assoaciate them with so-called bisexuals who are just sex crazed lunatics who dont care who or what they fuck.
"Bisexuality isn't something you choose, its just a part of who you are, and only you can truly know if you are bisexual or not because no one can feel what you feel except yourself"

"Its not just a 'phase', its when you are physically, emotionally and sexually attracted to both sexes however not nessasirly equally of course"

Example: ME! im a bisexual guy and not afraid to admit it :D
