Goming

Goming (verb): The act of excessively discussing and/or debating Australian politics with one's friend group, regardless of their actual interest or knowledge on the subject. Those who engage in Goming are often well-versed in political jargon and current events, but lack the ability to assess their audience's enthusiasm for the topic.

While Goming, a person may display symptoms such as:
- Unwavering passion for Australian politics
- Obliviousness to the disinterest of others
- Inability to change the subject
- A compulsion to share political memes and news articles

"Mate, Jordan's been Goming for an hour now, and I still have no idea what he's talking about. Can someone please tell this Gomer to give it a rest?"

It's kinda like Rick Rolling where you try to force/ trick people into listening to a segment of a song, but instead of the Rick Roll song, it's the portion of Aishite Aishite Aishite by Ado where she screams "GomenasaIIII!!!"

I picked up my friend's call, but she GomenasaIIII ed me.
