When an event messes with your energy or mood before and after it actually happens.
Inspired by video game “area of effect” attacks, except this one hits across time instead of space.

Example:
If I have to go to work on Tuesday, I’m already tired on Monday and still exhausted on Wednesday.
That’s the time-area of effect (TAoE) of my job.

Usage:
“Bro, that meeting has such a huge TAoE, I can’t enjoy my weekend.”
“Vacations have a positive TAoE. The good vibes start before you even leave.”

An effect where people think that a country, state, province, city, or any other sort of area are far better / worse than they actually are.
