The Jj effect (it will be studied for millennia) is a beautifully complex effect. An incredible outplay? The Jj effect is present. An awful int play? The Jj effect is present. A pointless solo shatter? The Jj effect is present.
No one truly knows what the Jj effect entails, and it's true meaning is yet to be discovered (hence it shall continue to be studied for millennia to come).

Person 1: He's cute but he looks 12
Person 2: Actually he's 23
Person 1: But he looks younger
Person 2: That's the Thomas Brodie-Sangster effect, Thomas is 31 but he looks 12.

refers to a perceived increase in athletic performance resulting from the synchronization of mental focus, physical readiness, and environmental factors, leading to a state of peak performance beyond normal expectations
The sudden surge in the athlete's performance can be attributed to the elusive Schlungus Mungus Effect, which seemed to heighten their focus and physical capabilities during the crucial match.

That moment your post on the League of Legends boards will get removed, once you do a joke about the Champion Balance, or jokes about certain Buffs or Nerfs on certain champions, the ''Shark Effect'' mostly happens if you do these kind of jokes in the board section FOR jokes and memes
Made by Shark, which is leading to the Shark Effect
Release Xin Zhao wasn't op, we should've kept him and also buffed him, he was in a really weak state and now he is unplayable Kappa
2 Days later : Your thread got removed due to being posted in the wrong section of the boards

This very rarely occurs when you play the "Chicken Dance" in a very conveniently plain field with a single tree in the state of Nevada, optionally needs a dancer in the background. Approached by a man, you must push him to complete the objective, however this will result in your untimely demise at the hands of said man, named Hank J. Wimbleton. Fortunately, your legacy will result in 12 episodes that escalate from fighting Jeb (jesus but not really), to a sheriff, a clown who breaks the laws of physics seeking vengeance, and a demon.
At the time of writing, this currently has only been attempted once, with great success.

Name after famed boxer Mike Tyson. When someone in their youth was careless, reckless, or lost in their ways, only to, later in life reflect and articulate, how misguided their intentions were and use the experience to affect positive change.
Nate Diaz seems to be experiencing, the Tyson Effect, as he looks back over his career with some regrets.

The effect caused by an artificial and arbitrarily imposed wait on an action you're waiting for a human to process even though it could and should be completely and totally fucking automated in 2021. The human in question at the end of the waiting period will literally pick up a clipboard or look at some excel sheet and click process on some 90s looking terminal program to make whatever you're waiting for happen and ultimately relieve you of the agony. Named after the Futurama storyline of them unfreezing people after x amount of years have passed from their death.
- Hey Marge, that international wire transfer you were waiting for has finally came through after 20 days, must have been a mess to process for them.
- Nah, I think we're just unknowing victims of the futurama effect.
