In World of Warcraft, when buffing someone who is tagged for PVP, and they get buffed in raid, causing the PVP tag to spread quickly, i.e. like aids.

I buffed him with Kings, and that caused PVP aids to spread like wildfire!

AIDS

AIDS stands for Aquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, and is a disease caused by the virus HIV. It can be transmitted sexually, or by injecting like blood to blood contact. It is way too stigmatized, probably because of the methods it is usually aquired. You can also be born with it.

Typical idiot American: I am scared I'm going to get AIDS because I went to Africa and held hands with some people, and shared drinks!
