Auditor Smith: The department I just audited is suffering from the Sybill effect (or Trelawney effect).
Auditor James: What did they do?
Auditor Smith: Told us that if we didn't leave this instant and stop disrupting them, then that the planet's core was going to mutate causing a cataclysmic and irreversible instability, our ears would sprout brain eating butterflies, every volcano on Earth would simultaneously erupt, and one out of ever forth human being would transform into a brain and blood sucking zombie/vampire.
Auditor James: What department were you auditing?
Auditor Smith: Congress.

The Maya effect is when one person is unreasonably mad at another person for a very small reason or in some cases no reason at all. Any attempts to question this outburst will be swiftly met with more aggression This uncalled for aggression is often combined with a lack of communication towards solving whatever issue may be present. The Maya effect is unlikely to last longer then a week but an apologies are incredibly rare and none have been documented so far
Person 1: "Hey man my girlfriend is so mad at me right now she won't even tell me what I did."
Person 2: "Have you tried talking to her about it?"
Person 1: "Yea I did and she just gave me the silent treatment and cancelled our plans for tonight"
Person 2: "Damn bro. Your really suffering from the Maya effect right now."

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.
Nick: Teach me the butterfly effect.
Ray: Love is a prime example of the butterfly effect. The insignificant action of the past can have a surmountable impact today, creating an incredible bond between 2 friends. Love you buddy.

The origin of "time traveler moves a chair" meme
Theory of "every little things are slowly changing the world"
The name of this word comes from the saying "A butterfly could cause a hurricane"
However, this is just a myth. But a single butterfly could change the timing/location of the hurricane.
