Ringtone ear rape

When you have your phone turned off all day and you turn it back on only to be ear raped by your repetitive ringtone going off more than multiple times, annoying you and everyone near enough to hear

I had my phone off all day to save battery for the trip, when I turned it back on I suffered from some seriousness ringtone ear rape.

a samsung ring tone is very nice for a history teacher and they like to interrupt history class, and get innocent girls in trouble, and they still love their phones. this normally happens in grade 6 it is part of puberty.

A derogatory response toward a person who makes generic remarks often associated with television and mass media. Deriving from the fact that the generic remark is so overused you can buy it as a ringtone for your phone.

G. Talk to the hand etc..
R. Yeah, ringtone!

ringtone rock

Rock music that is overplayed and over saturated that you pretty much want to plug your ears when you hear one of these songs. They are very annoying and are usually heard as ringtones on a person cell phone, at stadium sporting events, and of course, in a mid life crisis guy pickup truck. It is also in a commercial or movie all the time because they are "timeless classics from the Gods of Rock" but it is really an dated annoyance.

Ringtone Symphony

When an event or disaster occurs that is of sufficient magnitude and general interest that everyone must get on the phone and tell everyone about it - what occurs in a public place is a ringtone symphony. You are sitting in a restaurant or concert and every phone in the place goes off all at once.

Last time there was an earthquake in SF, I was sitting in the restaurant when all f a sudden there was a ringtone symphony.

Ringtossing

The concept of waiting until the populous majority is talking about a specific topic to throw in your two cents in an effort to recruit people to a similar rationale that runs partly intersectional but largely contrary to the original sentiment.

Etymologically stemming from carnival ring-tosses recognized by a tight gathering of bottles where the player throws a plastic ring that is likely to hit a bunch of bottles and ping around (see: negative response) before possibly securing itself around the neck of a single bottle (see: a fellow asshole/dickhead) in the gallery.

"did you see that 14 people died in a suicide bombing this weekend?"

"did you know that 300 people died of the flu over the weekend?"

"is that relevant?"

"do YOU NOT THINK we should do something to STOP INFLUENZA?"

"do YOU THINK you might be ringtossing a little?"
