GERD

An acronym for a gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) that occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the tube connecting your mouth and stomach (esophagus). The backwash (acid reflux) can irritate the lining of your esophagus causing feeling like heartburn, and chest burning sensation.

You can sometime experience GERD if you have others underlying cause such as being pregnant, overweight or bowel/stomach disorder
