An old woman, often of Russian, Polish or Finnish decent, who is sturdily built, and very strict. Baboushkas often work at schools and such in Europe and terrify all the children. A common denominator for Baboushkas is a somewhat manly character, and quite energous for their age, possibly from a higher onset of testosterone levels as they have gotten older.
