Making a long phrase into an acronym nobody understands unless you explain it.

Instead of saying I want to die I’ll acronymize it and say IWTD

A temporary loss of focus followed by confusion when reading a news story containing an overabundance of acronyms.

Today I read a news article following up on the dramatic UFO/UAP topic and had an acronymism connecting the dots. Had to go back and reread what looked like alphabet soup.

The term signifies the confusion experienced by the GenX and Boomer generations who are accustomed to using whole words. The term is a combination of the words zoomer, millennial, acronyms, and icons.

I'm from GenX and I don't understand your zoomerennial acronymicons that are supposed to replace actual words, please use your words.
