Janitor Headphones

Headphones seen in movies and in TV shows being worn by janitors, usually used for jamming out to the latest cassette tapes; this can be seen in media from 1996 or 2016. The janitor is always the same person who’s wearing a bulky pair of 3.5 mm audio jack headphones (over ear, “noise cancelling”) or a cheaper pair of “on ear” headphones with an adjustable metal strip that goes over your head.

Person: "What are you wearing?"
Assumed to be Janitor: *Jamming out to The Cure on his walkman, mopping and not giving a fuck*
Other person: "Those are Janitor Headphones. He's probably a janitor.

A pair of headphones that are insanely over priced and are usually worn by douche bags or kids with low self-esteem. The user tends to think they have lots of "Swag" and most of the time, the user likes boom-bastic hippety hop music.

John- "Hey, yea, see that kid over there?"
Mario- "Yea, hes wearing Beats Headphones, he must be a douche bag."
