La Bouche was a Eurodance duo formed by Frank Farian in Germany in 1994, consisting originally of Melanie Thornton (May 13, 1967 - November 24, 2001) and Lane McCray. The first lead single, "Be My Lover" was top 10 in fourteen countries, #1 in Germany and #6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1996.
