sugar on snow

A traditional Woodchuck food found mainly in Vermont but found in other northern New England areas and in Quebec by other names. Sugar on snow is when you boil maple sugar but not long enough for it to become maple candies and then pour it onto snow so becomes this soft candy substance.

During the spring months when the sap is flowing, sugar on snow parties are held. In Stowe Vermont the Sugar Slalom is a traditional event held every April for over 70 years as a ceremonial wrap up to the ski racing season and the ski season as a whole where sugar on snow is served in large quantities.

In the spring I prefer sugar on snow to creemees because its tradition.

There's nothing like finishing off a perfect powder day with a sugar on snow party! (because fresh powder makes the best sugar on snow)

When it begins to snow so heavily that you believe that the the next day you won't be going to school/work. Then the snow stops in around an hour

lake snow

A really awesome lake with cool cabin communities where lots of teens go on holidays. It is a place where the number one game is seven minutes in heavan, and getting molested by an 12 yr old happens daily. Kids go to their houses and drink and make out while their parents are at a camp fire. All the guys and girls are really hot and its the best lake ever.

When i went to lake snow i got drunk on life and then kissed five guys.

snow legs

Similar in concept to 'sea legs' - describes the difficulty people have walking in the snow and slush after the 1st heavy snowfall of the season.

I slipped three times on the way here - I guess I haven't got my snow legs yet.
