The name of a collection of plays produced in San Francisco. The play on words is in reference to Marie Antoinette's alleged quote "Let Them Eat Cake." Because San Francisco is known as the most openly gay city in the United States, the slogan emerged from an SFSU playwright as ironic commentary in order to protest against the "gay" egocentric image oriented consumer world: "Let Them Eat Snatch"
