A sub genre of UK garage music that was originally founded by Musical Mob. The first ever 8 Bar tune was called Pulse X.

8 Bar is given the name because the bassline alternates every 8 bars.

Tucker Max (www.tuckermax.com) has claim to this, but I am placing it for him.
