What is up with everyone claiming that just the Emo look is called scene? it's not. A 'Scene kid' is someone who takes over the look of a specific genre. If you like Emo/Hardcore and you wear your sisters Jeans then you're a scene kid. If you like Rap & wear your big brothers XXL G-Unit shirt than you're a scene kid. If you're A metal head and you wear bandanas in your long hair then you're a scene kid. If you like Ska and wear checkered patterns or dress like Rudy/Skanker then you're a scene kid. Half the population in this retarded world is a Scene Kid. get it right.

When "emo" styles are worn by kids that wouldn't be considered "emo." ie. When a generally popular, or "whorish" kid wears emo clothes, has emo hair or has lots of piercings. Scene styles are especially popular among myspace whores.

Get the scene kidmug. The Scene subculture (aka. Scene people, scenesters, trendies) is all about experimenting with alternative fashion and discovering new music. Fashion for scene girls usually consists of dyed hair (usually teased) and bright clothing. Fashion for scene guys however is usually darker and more emo/hardcore looking. Band shirts and skinny jeans are VERY common in the scene subculture, along with skate shoes. Common music styles associated with scene are crunkcore, metalcore, deathcore, emo, screamo, and pretty much all electronic music. Crunkcore is the most popular genre, for now.
