Seen as the next Madonna, because she changes her image and style with every album. She has an AMAZING voice, one of the few singers today that actually sounds better live than on recordings. Her newest album, "Back to Basics", which came out in August of '06, pays a tribute to the old-fashioned styles of her influences, such as Billie Holiday and Aretha Franklin, and many of the songs on the album are based on their styles.
