Due to his massive popularity he is often used by newcomers to electronic dance music as a gateway to trance and EDM in general; also due to his massive popularity he is often reviled after these same newcomers want to feel more of a part of the community and rag on Tiesto. Veterans of the dance music scene also criticize him for the lack of quality in his latest productions and his average mixing skills of late, and for "selling out" to the masses.
Tiesto has shown undeniable skill in his productions such as Suburban Train, Flight 643, and Sparkles (among others), and in many of his remixes such as his "In Search of Sunrise" brand remix of Silence by Delerium. Many will continue to hate Tiesto (and its true that his latest work "Love Comes Again" with BT on vocals is terrible) but many will hate Tiesto for bullshit reasons. Listen to his old productions and his new works, and decide for yourself.

The other characters were Florida (the compassionate mother), James Sr (the discplinarian father), Thelma (the hot sister), Michael (the pre-pubescent annoying kid brother), Willona (the intruding next door neighbor), and Bookman aka "Buffalo Butt" (the fatass super who everyone makes fun of)
The show also featured the acting debut of Janet Jackson as Penny (the cute but wiseass orphaned child)
