Using dextromethorphan hydrobromide (DXM, robo), an ingredient in cough syrup, as a drug, especially for an extended period of time (days, weeks, months, even years (!).
It should be noted that this is very very bad for your liver and your brain. One sometimes gets the impression that young people think that just because not many people have heard of a drug, it is safer than controlled street drugs.

"Dude, (X person)'s been chasing the robot for 3 months, and she's totally nuts."
"That is awesome, but it's pretty sad too."
