Therian

A Therian is someone who identifies as a human on a non-physical level. They are not furries. A Therain can also have a theriotype which is the animal that makes them a Therian. They can have more than one theriotype. My theriotype is a Canadian Lynx.

therianthropic

To contain the qualities of both an animal and human. From the Greek prefixes Theri- meaning "wild animal" and anthropo- meaning "human".
This word is usually used to describe gods, (i.e. Bast) but is also literally what a furry is.

The Egyptian goddess Bast is a therianthropic Deity.

The characters in Furrlough are therianthropic.

Similar to the drunk dial, it is when a person calls another person after a session with a psychology counselor or psychatrist and compulsively recounts his or her latest breakthrough, and/or rehashes an incident that happened many years ago, and/or asks the questions that came up during the session, without regard to the person, time of day, or current lifestyle of who he or she called. Therian Day

Every 4th of the months therians do vocals/sounds and quads and wear a mask if they have one in public. It’s completely optional but extremely encouraged in the therian community.

“Dylan, today’s therian day!”
“Lets go do quads, bring your mask!”
