A saying indicating that "Snitches" or people who tell on others to police, partners etc. will get stitches, resulting from some kind of abuse (usually physical)

Snitch: "Sir, It was Tommy that sold me the drugs"
Tommy: "You better watch yourself punk, snitches get stitches"

in the criminal sense a snitch will provide information to the police or feds in order to obtain lenient treatment for themselves and provide information over an extended period of time in return for money or for police to overlook their own criminal activities. Quite often someone will become an informant following their arrest.

a snitch is not the innocent person who has a serial killer living next door so he tells the police to get the trash out the community. a snitch is one who is slanging dope or doing some other wrong doing and gets caught but instead of taking their punishment like a man they tell the authorities info on other criminals so they can get off scott free or reduce their own punishment. that is a snitch!

The pretty bestie, immaculate sense of fashion, great taste in music, cat mom, chill and go with the flow type of person. Although she's an introvert, she would never turn down an opportunity to party with her friends. She most likely has a tiny appetite but the way to her heart is through food. Nintendo Snitch

Someone who rats out stuff relating to things that have to do with Nintendo, such as ROM websites or fan games.

I WAS going to play Mario Golf for the Nintendo 64 tonight, but some Nintendo Snitch ratted out EmuParadise and now I can't find anywhere to download it!

A Nintendo Snitch reported to Nintendo ANOTHER Super Mario 64 HD remake and it got taken down, it wasn't even a full level!
