A series of myths; usually having Greek gods,mythological creatures,heroes,and demi-gods.

Usually seen in Social Studies textbooks.

Artemis is the goddess of the moon and the hunt.
The Minotaur is a creature that is half man half bull.
Percy Jackson is a demi-god.

Symptoms include nausea, sweating, increased wisdom, anxiety, seizures, the urge to get a tattoo of a favorite lyric, delusions of grandeur, levitation, insight into the meaning of the universe, and genital swelling.

"Do you see that guy with the headphones having a seizure while floating in mid-air?"

The tendancy toward fantastical exaggeration as applied to any given event, personage or statement as a method of establishing veracity or plausibility, however unlikely.

Ok, so the biblical flood required animals to be gathered 'from the four corners of the earth'; marsupials from Australia, spider species specific only to the African rainforest, Pandas from Asia..that's 100 million+ animals, all within walking distance of the mythologized infamous ark?

Greek Mythology

A series in myths which often start from Zeus, the Greek god of thunder and hospitality, feeling usually aroused and in need to have sexual intercourse with a woman who most likely just wants to go on with her life.

Person A: Wow, this statue of Zeus is incredible! I bet he was really cool in his time.
Person B (who knows): …Sure, sure he was.
Person A: Why are you looking at me like that? Doesn't he have a lot of cool kids in Greek Mythology.
Person B: Yep, let's go with that.
