George Lucasing

When an artist takes a previously completed and publicized work and tries to improve upon it much later.

Named for the continual revising of the Star Wars movie by George Lucas (if you didn't guess).

When Stephanie Meyer published that gender flipped version of Twilight, what was most remarkable was that even though she acknowledged her own George Lucasing of the work, still left several counts of telling more than showing.
