This is probably one of the greatest pieces of legislation ever. It basically destroys this little thing called the internet by giving the United States government power to shut down any website. Fans of the internet think this is bad, but in reality it's really good because the internet is full of pirates stealing stuff from virtual ships of the coast of Somalia.com. These pirates recently took over maerskalabama.com and had to be taken out by navysealsarebadasses.com.

To censor yourself or delete a comment/post/link you have posted due to possible incrimination of something.
1: "Hey, I saw you wrote on my wall but now it's gone... what's up?"
2: "Sorry dude, I had to SOPA myself just in case my girl saw."

SOPA created sufficient uproar that it will likely be elevated to part of the language. It ought to be a generic adjective: anything that is too quick'n'easy, arrogant, and poorly thought out. Something SOPA is instantly predictable by the intellectually challenged to have no chance of working. The slapdash aspect of the definition provides a nod to usage in Brazil. There should be an undercurrent of at least one of the Capital Vices in the intent behind an action before describing it as SOPA.
"Motherfucker! Five antennas look dapper posing on your tower, Dog, but the router location is SOPA. Your chine is an RFI supernova. I just got dc again."
"Maybe it's your laptop."
"It's 2a bro, I should be able to raid without shame!"

two bills. Killing the internet. Shutting down websites without due-process, or legislative review. Giving the entertainment industry more rights to abuse. Allowing the internet to be censored. In the name of Piracy. When the internet helps the economy more than the entertainment industry. It is merely to help the entertainment industry maintain their archaic business model, and they don't want to innovate.

Jo Schmoe: Apparently someone sand a copyrighted song on a guitar on facebook video, and the person didn't have the rights
Me: Damn you unconstitutional laws PIPA and SOPA!
