An insult for someone who lacks skills, knowledge and/or understanding in specific areas they are supposed to be good at (e.g. someone being terrible at video games or their occupation), or is just generally stupid unskilled or clueless, and is completely unaware of how terrible they truely are.

Synonymous with moron and NPC.

"This guy is such a moid, it's not even funny."
