Fam

A shortened version of the word family. A slang term referring to your close group of friends.

The term is Juggalo in origin. Juggallo's once referred to their group as a whole as 'the family'. This was eventually shortened to "fam" as "the family" is simply to long and confusing a term for Juggallo's to use in their ever day language. Fam was sadly adopted by teens and heady festi kids in more recent years; most of them likely not aware of the slang terms tainted past.

Teen: Much love fam, fam is so fire. shit is lit fam.
