a band that sucks. people who think they are cool and really punk listen to it, then do everything to CONFORM to the views expressed in the songs. in reality, they are trying harder to CONFORM to this punk lifestyle than most Abercrombie models try to conform to the lifestyle of polo shirts.

A person has to be a real douche bag to be Too Drunk to Fuck.

Dead Kennedys Term

End of the "American Dream" and the beginning of the "Me Generation." Started with Kennedy's Assassination, Vietnam War, and Watergate, people decided they didn't care anymore. Their effort didn't matter, it was about themselves. Mainly in America then Canada because of the Domino Theory.

Fake Dead Kennedys

In lue of a lawsuit, East Bay Ray et all. kicked Jello out of the Kennedys and replaced him with a no talent hack that doesn't know the meaning to a lot of their songs.

Since then, they've been trying to corrupt the legacy DK has made. Jello has even had to fight them to keep East Bay and others from using Holliday in Cambodia in a Dockers commercial.

A phrase used to describe feeling completely out of place, awkward, or like you don’t belong in a situation. Comes from the mental image of a stereotypical “redneck” showing up at a Dead Kennedys punk concert — a total cultural mismatch.

Possibly the best band ever. Sings crazy songs with great political messages. Used to be fronted by Jello Biafra.

The Dead Kennedy's have songs like: "I Kill Children, Dear Abby, California Uber Allies, Anarchy For Sale, and I Fought the Law (And I Won)"

one of the best punk bands and possibly the best hardcore punk band of all time. Jello Biafra (first singer) had the quintessential punk rock voice. their songs mainly took aim at polotics. while there titles seemed vicious and evil (like 'kill the poor') they are usually metephorical for the issues that occurred around the time. they never sold out and they stayed true to their underground fanbase. they reformed in 2001 with a new singer, but have yet to leave their underground success behind them. a great band!

listen to 'holiday in cambodia' and you'll understand! ;) the dead kennedy's rock too hard!
