Get the astroturfingmug. A subset of Bluegrass's Newgrass movement, astroturf is equivalent to vaporwave bluegrass together. Or any pairs of microgenres within vaporwave and various style of bluegrass. This genre was a result of the Newgrass movement encouraging artists to explore further into ways to use technology mixed with roots music. Astroturf is a play on words because turf is literally just synthetic grass.
I got invited to a house show party and my friend said there'd be an Astroturf band there, and she explained that it was just vaporwave bluegrass.
