A word coined to describe a situation which has elements of weirdness, but is overall so fulfilling that it could be considered an achievement.

In short, "abnormal in an awesome way."

Person 1: "Man, there's no way you're serious about convincing a nun to go on a waterslide."
Person 2: "Sure I will, it's going to be totally abnosome!"

Meaning both abnormal and awesome, a strange combination of mixed emotions and possibly slight terror.

Gishwhes is abnosome and scary, in the sense that it forces you to push boundaries you didn't know existed, and/or just generally accepted.

Are you really willing to go swimming in a dumpster? It is for charity, after all.
