A religion which, according to its holy book, the bible, began over 2000 years ago.
It has for a long time been the most commonly followed religion in the world, mostly in the west and parts of Africa.
Recently, there has been a decline in followers, mostly in the west, due to a lot of anti-Christian material in the media - for example, controversies surrounding homosexuality, and in the US, the Westboro Baptist Church.
The truth is, even as a non-Christian, I know that in a nutshell, the bible teaches pretty much nothing more than to love one another and to have a fulfilling life... contrary to what a lot of people say; it being nothing but made up gibberish. True, most of the stories in the bible are made up, but those stories are used mainly to interpret many unanimous Christian beliefs.
Sadly, many modern Christians face a lot of prejudice due to what the media portrays them to be. Most Christians just want to live a fulfilling life and don't wish to impede their beliefs on others.

Get the Christianmug. A wonderful human being with a kind heart, an amazing brain, and a golden soul. Thoughtful and intentional. Bold and gentle. Passionate and wise. Fun and sweet. He is a killer soccer player and an incredible musician. A lover of books, a teller of stories, and a discoverer of beauty. He is a generous giver whose recommendations are always gold. He has epic dance moves and is the most fun, joyful person to have dance parties with. He makes the greatest scrambled eggs and kills tarantulas. He has beautiful, dark eyes, a knockout-shaved head, and a really good smile. Christian is a true friend. Trustworthy and loyal. He’s there for you and has your back and reminds you of that often. He would do a lot to make you smile which you realize is pretty amazing and invaluable. You are very grateful and thankful for him and all that he is.

Though there are many "branches" of Christianity-Do to Martin Luthers 95 thesis in the middle ages- such as Baptist, Catholic, Roman Catholic, Pentecostal(Sorry if I mispelled that), ect. We all follow the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was the son of Mary and Joseph, and was a jewish religious preacher. He is also the main figure of Christianity. He is to believed to be the Son of God. In the Christian holy book, The Holy Bible, he was sent to Earth forgive us of our sins. He was crucified(A slow painful death of being tied-or in Jesus's case nailed- to a cross), and he was resurrected the third day. It has been scientifically proven thay Jesus came, preached, crucified, and was not in his tumb the third day. Now wether you believe he was the Son of God or not is your personal belief. All Christians must believe these things to enter heaven. The people who did not recieve forgiveness, their soul goes to tell or eternal punishment. Christians are to believe that Jesus is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and to believe he is the Messiah.
