(verb phrase)
“take care” / “gave take care” / “got take cared”

A modern slang expression used when someone (usually a boy) politely rejects, ghosts, or ends things with you in a way that feels lowkey respectful - but still hurts. “Take care” is what you say when someone ends communication with a vibe of soft detachment and emotional distance.

Typically used on the east coast from Georgia down to Ohio. Taking off essentially means that you have just taken several hits of a joint. Take off is the act of getting stoned.
