trap music

The worst EDM genre to have ever existed. It's not even music, it's just a bunch of harsh 808 drum samples accompanied with that annoying AF "tic-tic-tic-tic" semiquaver hi-hat pattern. Even hip hop (old school rap) sounds miles better than this POS genre.

So I was studying at the library and then suddenly this ghetto dude who reeks of weed sits near me with his earphones blasting out obnoxious trap music. Couldn't study from all that cacophony.

A very old type of music that people use to feel good about themselves because listening to classical makes them "so smart" and people who listen to rap, pop or country are "so dumb."

Person 1: "People who listen to classical music are almost as bad as k-pop stans."

Person 2: "Talk about, dude."

Music video

A video that accompanies a music track. Something created to add a more visual aspect to music, and popularized by MTV in the 80s. Some are used to add more meaning to the song and to convey the message better(best type), others are just videos of the artists playing the music(casual and the most popular), and some are random and meaningless things/just straight up weird, sometimes enough weird that it ruins the song in rare cases(Miike Snow). But for the most part, music videos are pretty cool and I'm glad they exist.
