Unlike otakus who embrace Japanese art and traditions, Kentakus have an obsession for Appalachian folk art, Bluegrass music, Coal mining, and sometimes Heroin, although this isn't always associated with being a kentaku. They also have a extreme and undying love and obsession with President, Abraham Lincoln and Colonel Sanders
