dogging

The act of adhering to a simple philosophy in which a person strives to do the bare minimum whenever opportune, only executing at peak performance when it actually matters, i.e. finessing whenever possible. All situations that do not apply should be approached with a "no fucks given" mentality. A person can only be classified as a dog if the previously stated criterion is enacted on the regular.

Tyrone and I was dogging at work yesterday. We ain't do nothin but sit around.

On the dog

A development of the well-known phrase "hair of the dog", being on the dog originally referred to drinking large amounts, but can also be used to refer to being on the ball with things such as work and sport.

Yeah really well, I'm really on the dog at the moment.

Not so great, I've fallen off the dog a bit, I'll be back on the dog properly next week though.

Dog

A pathetic beast with no pride. A great insult to wolves if called a dog. The wretched beasts have nothing. They abey and are loyal to the idiotic human race who thinks they are all powerful. Dogs are mindless and connot be trusted. They say dogs and Wolves are related. They were, until dogs gave up their pride to live with humans. That was what made them so different, and made them a disgrace to the canine family. They are considered to be lower then even humans.
