An individual who is half Jewish. It is derived from the myth that Jewish people have horns (a biblical misreading) and as such, an individual with only half authentic Jewish ancestry, has only one horn...hence a Unicorn.
My mother was raised dutch-reform, but my father is Jewish, so I'm pretty much a straight up unicorn.

This guy I met last night - I feel like I've known him my whole life. The way he talks about Coltrane, Miles. I didn't realize that there was someone who loves jazz more than I do. I guess unicorns do exist after all.
