Get the OC Giveawaymug. OC or OoC is not from this millennia. It has been used in many fields for many decades in particular engineering-related circles. I came across it in the 1950s when working in the Electricity generation field. it means "Out of Commission" as in not working. Applied to machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and many other systems or pieces of equipment, large or small. It does not mean “original content” and “original character.” Those are newbie definitions.

Get the OCmug. When spoken pronounced "oh-cheese". OCS stands for Only Child Syndrome. People with OCS are often only looking out for themselves. They disregard other people's plans, feelings, and ideas in favor of their own, and often change their minds, even after making "definite" plans. They're usually indecisive, as well as bipolar when it comes to relationships.
Person 1: "Hey, do you want to come to my house? We can get a ride."
OCS Sufferer: "No, I don't know, I want to be in NATURE right now.."
P1: "Um well....we could hang outside..."
