Sizes 12 through 18 are sometimes considered mid-sized, while size 20 and above is generally considered plus-sized. These ranges my vary by brand and region.
As a plus-sized person, I can not shop for clothes in most stores. My straight sized sister has a smaller size than me. Most stores carry her size.
