The word comes from the idea that these douchebags suck so bad they shouldn't be on a team and instead should be paying $2.50 to skate around with 5 year olds at open ice. They generally need to use the little pusher things to hold themselves up when they skate around. Similar to a bender, duster, hoser, or home dresser.
