Mammick

Offensive • noun

/ma'am-ick/
-A contemptuous yet relatively unknown term for a Caucasian American, (especially one who resides within the southern United States)- Used to degrade a white person in US south, and usually all white people of Irish decent.

Origin :

"Mayo-Monkey" + "Mick"
(Offensive • from the african-Amerircan derived slur "monkey") (Offensive • an Irishmen)

-While this "slur" does not have as much mainstream weight to it as other white terms like : "Cracker", "Honky" or "Snowbunnies" do, in it's use it has always been rooted in a derogatory and offensive manner to degrade people of Irish decent, branching out to generally mean all Caucasians in general. (That should just generally not be used)

Mamparra

An Afrikaans expression:
a Mamparra is an idiot or stupid person.
Typically used in reference to bad drivers.
It also describes an inferior product or service.

"The mamparra at the call centre couln't even pronounce my name, SMITH Mamparra Smith!"

"The mamparra in the Minibus cut me off."

"The mamparra in the Minibus stopped right in the middle of the main road to let passengers out"

"That is not a phone, it is just some Mamparra plastic with buttons and a sim card"

magpie syndrome

An irrational affinity for shiny objects. When a highly shiny object is seen by the sufferer it often may induce a compulsive need to claim it and several minutes of staring at said object in the sun. This will later end in the sufferer pocketing the object to add to his/her collection by a sunny windowsill at home. If a shiny object is ouside of a sufferer's grasp it will usually result in an strong, though usually short-lived obsession over it.

Me: Master Chief's armor wasn't nearly as shiny as you said in the Halo 3 trailer.
