Bob da Builder syndrome

Bob the builder syndrome.. commonly found among romantic relationships where the role Is mainly taken on by the female, whom tries to fix and inadequate male.

However this role can be taken on by men and can be found within friendships too.

The fixer is normally taken fi idiiatt as they think they can change their counterpart “I can change him”

Also referred to as builda bear syndrome..and build a nigha syndrome.

Builder's Special

A "builder's special" is when land is purchased (or an existing house demolished) in an established neighborhood of well-appointed homes of unique architecture by a builder who then builds a pedestrian home consisting of mainstream components and little architectural interest. Builder specials are almost always in-fill to an existing neighborhood.

While all McMansions are Builder Specials, the derisive term Builder Special is reserved for a pedestrian home placed in a neighborhood of unique homes, whereas McMansions are often clustered together in a subdivision of McMansions.

Yeah, a developer bought the vacant lot across the street and is putting in a builder's special.

builders tea

The act of brewing cheap, inexpensive tea in a mug rather than a teapot. In addition to this, the tea is often brewed stronger and usually contains two or more spoons of sugar. Drunk usually by construction workers who haven't got the time (amongst their many breaks) to make a proper brew.

Example:

Builder 1: "Fancy a cuppa?"

Builder 2: "Yeah - I think the teapot is in the van."

Builder 1: "Don't be soft lad! The other builders will laugh at us! Get me the PG Tips"

Builder 2: "Hate builders tea, but I always have to have at least 5 before I can start work"
