a type of metal used by mandalorians to make their armor. it's one of the only materials to reflect laser bolts. mandalorians get their beskar armor after proving their worth in training.

the empire stole lots of beskar after the battle of mandalore, as shown in the Star Wars Rebels series. the empire used a form of electricity to destroy a ton of mandalorians, leaving their armor behind. in The Mandalorian, a Disney+ original, we see the remnants of the empire using beskar to pay bounty hunters.
