The Rabbit of Zanzibar

A mysterious rabbit that only appears after one gets very, very high. It is scared by loud noises and if you've been fortunate enough to see the rabbit you must chase it, for it will lead you to the candy ship that will take you to the land of gumdrops. If you don't you've wasted a significant portion of your life. It runs very fast and sometimes disappears and reappears at random.

Paul: You mean you've never heard of The Rabbit of Zanzibar?
Mary: Don't you know he'll lead you to the candy ship that will take you to the land of gumdrops?
Paul: Go catch the rabbit, quick before it gets away!

To have gotten completely drunk to the point you have no idea where you are. To be in a place that no one knows the location. Passed out in random lobbies or talking a language that is unfamiliar to most.
