A ray that turns firearms from movies into walker talkies. Fortunately only one movie has been hit by the ray, E.T. The Extraterrestrial. The ray is powered by unecessary post-production, much like Lucasfilm's various rays.
It seems we've been hit with some kind of Spielberg Ray, all of our weapons have been turned into walkie talkies.
