A grammatical affliction common among users of email, online chat, and text messaging, wherein the afflicted deem themselves too busy and too stupid to spell correctly.

"Were u at? Met me at the mal after wok and well go shoppeng. Oops. I got serous Speller's Cramp! LOL."

Occurs when you are no longer able to spell due to a dependence on computers, word processing programs, auto correct, and or spell check. Spelless is a combination of the words spell and less.

Technology has left me spelless.

My spellessness has left me fearful of pen and paper.

Question: How do you spell Parliament?
Answer: Sorry, I am spelless.

Spellexia

A virus that causes one to struggle to spell words correctly. In extreme cases, those infected with this virus can turn disturbingly violent! Some have been recorded to have stolen bodies from funerals, torn of their limbs, and used them to repeatedly slap people in the face (hard enough that the arm bends the wrong way) while they repeat a "spellexic" mantra "there! they're! their!"

There are currently no known cures...
