The story starts off where Sora, A young teenage boy, and his two friends, Riku and Kairi are living peacefully in Destiny Islands. One stormy night, Their hometown gets swallowed by the darkness. Then, Sora, who finds out he is the one who shall open the door, with the Keyblade in his hands and Donald Duck and Goofy to fight alongside with, and protect the powerful force known as Kingdom Hearts.
Sora also goes to many more quests and journeys on other games, which can be played on many different consoles.
Of course, There are many more characters to introduce, and as you continue playing the game. This game also ties up with Final Fantasy VII, which is also created by Square Enix.

A game designed to tug into the heartstrings of FF weeaboos and disneyfags by combining the worst aspects of both companies and turning it into this fucking ass game. The whole story revolves around this gary stu fag named Sora who has to have ten different versions of him co-existing with him in-game. The addition of the characters Goofy and Donald makes the icing on this shit cake.
Hey man I'm so excited about Kingdom Hearts 3! I can't wait to play it with pregnant mod and imagine that I impregnated Sora's soiled musky ass. A horrible game released by SquareEnix. This game features a combination between the disney universe and the final fantasy universe. This game recieved alot of praise from Square fanboys and otaku, who failed to notice the horrible parts (the majority of the game) due to blind loyalty to a already failing series. This game features a horrible story and horrible gameplay.
Kingdom Hearts isn't that good.

some gay ass shitty game made popular only by the fact that the characters cloud and sephiroth from final fantasy 7 appear in it. a collaboration with disney and squaresoft. perhaps it would be cool if not for the "what the fuck-edness" spawned by the sight of seeing a kick ass sephiroth one minute and then that dumb fuck donald duck or mickey mouse the next. keep in mind that if sephiroth and cloud were subtracted from the game, all the "hard core gamers" who played it would most likely think it is some lame shitty disney game that belongs in a blazing fire rather than in their ps2.
i hate disney with a passion, and thus i will always hate kingdom hearts and will never "get over" the fact that the main characters are childish retarded disney ones.

It is an RPG on the PS2, and you play a young boy named Sora, who is welder of a weapon called the "KeyBlade". Sora's home is destroyed and his friend (a cheerful red-head)named Kairi- is taken by a force called the "Darkness"
Sora is tossed into an adventure and is aided by the loveable Goofy (a knight), and short tempered Donald Duck (a wizard).
Together they are looking for a light to stop the darkness.
While Kingdom Hearts had a huge amount of critism from so "hardcore" gamers and anime watchers who say "i hate Disney"
