what was, IMHO, before the Woodstock Festival of 1969, called a teenager.

an idiotager is so named because kids in that age range, 13-21 (with very few exceptions nowadays) don't behave like bratagers- but do behave like idiots repeating the mistakes of previous generations in terms of re-inventing and/or re-discovering sex, drugs, fashion styles, and music.
