Be careful though they surely like to compete while racing one another down mountain slopes. They may smash into when you least expect it. Huckleberries are challenging creatures!! Sly like foxes & as friendly as your next door neighbor that brings you burnt cookies. They seem to make friends with all the other snookums that tend to steal their food they’ve gathered for their winter hibernation. This is where you watch for them. They are loving, sharing & caring. If you turn on them they will notice and vanish in the night & you’ll never see them again.
