A grandparent who appears to be helpful and involved on social media. They only actually participate in situations in which the parents of the children are present, so they don’t actually have to help with anything. They have every excuse in the book when you beg them to babysit the children they post all over Facebook as grandparent of the year.
“why can’t you and your husband go on a date?” “We don’t have a babysitter” “but i thought your mom was so involved with the kids??” “Oh no, only on Facebook. She’s a social media grandparent.”

An excellent decision. Are you bored with the usual mumbo-jumbo your grandparents talk about? Bring alcohol into the picture! It will spice up any conversation, and your grandparents will either think you're a degenerate, or a comedy god.
